The Association for Communications, Electronics, Intelligence & Information Systems Professionals

AFCEA PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (PDC)

AFCEA, as the world's leading professional association for communications, electronics, information systems and intelligence professionals, has established a successful Professional Development Centre at AFCEA International's Fairfax, Virginia USA headquarters. While the majority of the membership is in the USA, some 20% of the members live elsewhere, particularly in Europe.  In a constant desire to improve member services to the entire international membership, AFCEA has established both a European scholarship programme and one for professional development.

“Doing Business with NATO –Understanding the System"

Moderator: Colonel John H Roberts, British Army (retd.)

John Roberts has designed a course, “Doing Business with NATO-Understanding the System”, which benefits from his experience in working within NATO. The course is delivered informally as a workshop, and provides unique opportunities for like-minded, executive level delegates to share experiences and network with potential collaborators in NATO and other market sectors.

On completion of the course, in addition to having gained an understanding of NATO’s organization, top level command structure, the roles of Agencies as well as other perspectives of the Alliance, delegates should possess the necessary knowledge and background information – to define a clear strategic approach to developing business from NATO. This course has now been successfully presented by AFCEA Europe within its PDC programme in UK, Portugal, Belgium and Czech Republic.
